"FOLLOWING ANIMALS AND KNOWLEDGE"

Educational seminarcarried out according to the principles of forest pedagogywith foreign lecturers

Do you remember the thrill of finding animal tracks on a dirt road, in mud, snow or by a river? What was she doing here? Was it big or small? Was she chasing someone or running away from someone? And what does it do besides leaving its paw prints or hoof prints in nature?

We will be a close connection between wild animals, people and the foreston Tuesday, October 17, 2017, included in an educational seminar for the general public. A seminar that will be basedon the principles of forest pedagogy, will take place at the headquarters of the Forestry Institute in Ljubljana and in the forested area of Rožnik.

End of applications!

We have filled all the places

The participants of the seminar will get to know wild animals, their habits and work with and for them through short introductory lectures by forest pedagogues and foresters, and above all practically, through forest pedagogy activities in nature.

Our lecturers and organizers of the event will gladly and professionally answer professional questions about the forest, wild animals and hunting. We are extremely happy that the seminar will be created with us by well-established forest pedagogues from Austria, who specialize in the topic of hunting.

Why choose our seminar?

When providing expert knowledge, we naturalists meet interested publics who have different requirements for the forest, different levels of knowledge about the forest and animals, and awareness of its importance for our society. Our seminars are held in small groups, where each participant can co-create the seminar and improve their skills in the field of forest pedagogy.

If you think that your work needs new knowledge or just a boost in the field of cooperation with the general public on the topic of animals, forests and hunting, you are cordially invited to co-create the seminar "Following the Tracks of Animals and Knowledge" with us.
