2018 is the yearEuropean cultural heritage, which is also celebrated in forests. Cultural behavior in the forest, respect and admiration for its beauty and secrets reflect the culture of our nation and the attitude towards nature and its resources.
A forest of experimentsThe Forestry Institute of Slovenia invites you to participate in the prize competition for the cutest art product on the theme"Forest Etiquette", which takes place within the frameworkEuropean Year of Cultural Heritage 2018.
With the competition, we want to encourage creativity, critical thinking, experiencing nature and raising awareness of the importance of respectful attitudes and cultural behavior in the forest, i.e. "Forest Etiquette".
The competition is intended for children in kindergartens and schools who like to draw and create; as well as older people who are attracted to drawing nature. Send the scanned product with which you want to participate in the prize art competition in .jpg or .png format to the email address:gozd.eksperimentov@gozdis.siwith the note "For the art competition "Forest Etiquette".
An individual can send one A4 or A3 drawing.Equip the art product with the following information:

first and last name of the author,
-
first and last name, e-mail address and phone number of the mentor,
-
institution
-
address (street, town, postal code).
It should also include a statement that the authors agree that the contest organizer can use the product and the mentioned data for the purposes of the contest (presentation, publication, announcements, etc.).
All quality products that will arrive by1 June 2018, we will publish on the FB page of the Forest of Experiments. We will reward the best 10 productswith book awards"Journey to the Great Forest", "Guardians of the Forest" and "Forest Diary" of the Life project LIFEGENMON (LIFE13 ENV/SI000148) and Publishing House Silva Slovenica of the Forestry Institute of Slovenia.
The award ceremony will take place15/06/2018at the Forestry Institute of Slovenia, at the event "With beech under beech" as part of Forest Week 2018 and the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018.
