On 11 October 2023, at the invitation of Klemen Strmšek (ZaVita d.o.o.), we presented our work and mission at a workshop within the project LIFE IP CARE4CLIMATE, which included a series of workshops on knowledge transfer.
At the last of the workshops entitled EXAMPLES OF GOOD PRACTICES OF KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER FOR DIFFERENT TARGET GROUPS, Ajša Alagić presented the activities of the Forest of Experiments as an example of a good and successful practice of knowledge transfer for different target audiences, from children, educators and tourism workers. She emphasised that the aim of our activities is to instil an appreciation of nature as a value, and above all to promote the forestry profession and disseminate scientific knowledge from the Forestry Institute of Slovenia.
She presented how we tailor our work to the target audience, following the common principles of sustainability, a holistic approach, environmental and social responsibility and using the forest as an innovative learning environment. We base our workshops on the principle of flow learning (pioneered by Joseph Cornell), which the workshop participants were able to learn about during a practical demonstration in the second part of the presentation in the nearby Rožnik Forest. During a short guided walk, the participants were introduced to the approaches of our activities, which follow from: arousing enthusiasm, directing attention, direct experience and sharing enthusiasm. We also showed adults how the forest can be the best classroom.
Thank you for the opportunity to share our experience! Read more about the workshop here.

Each race in PolyTrack is quite short, making it suitable for quick, casual play during breaks. However, reaching the top of the leaderboard requires patience and serious practice.
I read your article about the Forest of Experiments and how it shows good knowledge transfer, and it made me think about how connecting theory with real practice can really help learning stay alive and useful. When I was finishing a big research paper and felt stuck on unclear sentences I had to use Journal article editing services as something I used to fix confusing parts after many late nights, so I know clear writing helps big ideas travel further. Your post reminded me that sharing knowledge well changes how people learn and work together.
By presenting the Forest of Experiments as a model of good practice, the contribution clearly demonstrates how scientific Escape Road 2 knowledge and the forestry profession can be meaningfully communicated beyond academic circles.
