The seminar is intended for anyone interested in forest pedagogy or teaching in nature. The forest school originates from Scandinavia and is based on the concept of using the natural environment in the upbringing and education of children. It is a learning approach that takes place in the forest and can be adapted to different age groups of children. The Forest School provides a free environment for play, nature exploration, collaborative learning and skill building. At the seminar, you will get to know the essence of the forest school (its origin, principles and benefits), learning approaches and practically test the activities carried out in the forest school program in England. In addition, you will learn how to adapt various forest activities to children with special needs.
They will lead the seminarJo SayersandLynne Ledgard.

Jo Sayersis a qualified forest educator at Mersey Forest from England. Jo has been conducting practical workshops with children and teachers since 2009 and is a member of the National Association of Forest Schools. He has many years of experience in the field of establishing, managing and managing a forest school and designing a forest learning space.

Lynee Ledgardshe is a qualified forest pedagogue at Green Lane School from England since 2017. She is an expert in the field of special pedagogy and performs forest activities for children with special needs.
