of the artistic and literary competition WE DRAW TREES AND FORESTS!

Art competition for the cutest art product on the theme"WE DRAW TREES AND FORESTS"was an interesting challenge for young creators in kindergartens and primary schools. Most of the products are drawn and created with a child's heart, without any external influences. The creative direction of the educator can be seen on some of the products, which increases the variety of the competition and really excites us, foresters.

VForest Week 2018selected works of art will also be exhibited here at the Forestry Institute of Slovenia, where you can also view them (viewing information:spela.planinsek@gozdis.si).

 When evaluating the products, we took into account our forestry knowledge, the theme of the competition and the characteristics of artistic expression, being aware that each artistic creation is special according to the age of the creator and is a unique personal processing of what is seen. The selection of works submitted to the art competition indicated the awareness of young people about the extraordinary diversity of Slovenian forests and landscapes, and we hope that it stimulated reflection on the importance of trees and forests for our present and future. Again - thank you for the products sent!

1st prize– nagrada  of the Forestry Institute of Slovenia: Visit for a group of up to 20 children in the Forest of Experiments - for an individual or his/her group in a kindergarten   or school for children of the 2nd grade of elementary school Prežihovo Voranc Maribor.
